Approval of minutes: Motion made and carried to accept minutes from July 2007.

Treasurer’s Report:  Ending balance with approved correction of $6,195.52. 

NCM Ambassadors Report:  No report.

Web Master Comments:  Randy Goodlett – minutes late being put on site, are there now.

Applications:  None.

Club Sponsor Comments:  Ray Lanier – spoke about an October 20th cruise-in car show at Burton’s in Seaford.  He also brought posters for members of the Dale Earnhart “The Movie”.  This movie will air on CMT on September 4th.

Old / On-going Business:  Gerald Beauchamp – spoke on Pocomoke River Cruise on September 29th.  We need a minimum of 10 people at $30 per person in order to reserve our seat.  Let Gerald or Lee know if you would like to go ASAP.
Rick Berry – name tags are still available.
 
New Business:
Any charity wishing to be considered for “Charity of Donation”  choice for 2007-2008 MUST have a letter submitted to the club ASAP.
OFFICER NOMINATIONS – vote to take place at September’s meeting.  Nominations are:
            President – Lee Chaney                  Vice President – Jim Revelle
            Secretary – Arlene Gibson              Treasurer – Gerald Beauchamp
            Officer at Large – Bob Holden

Any other nominations can be made at the September meeting or on absentee ballots. (see attachments sent with August minutes via mail.  If you do not get your minutes and information via mail, please call Candi at 302-462-0014 ASAP)

Upcoming Activities: 
Corvettes at Carlisle – August 24, 25, 26th.
Milford Riverwalk Car Show – September 8th.  Car show until 4:00.  This is a full event day with lots of activities.
Seaford VFW Car Show – September 22 (rain date 23rd).  There will be a Corvette class.
Royal Farms in Greenwood – September 22nd
Cruise-in at ig Burton’s in Seaford – October 20th
Cruise-in at Kmart Salisbury shopping center – 3rd Saturday of each month.
