MEETING MINUTES
JANUARY 11, 2007

Meeting held at the VFW in Delmar. Called to order at 7:02. 

Approval of minutes:  Motion made and carried to accept minutes from Nov 2006. 

Treasurer’s Report:  Ending balance $4,571.35.   

NCM Ambassadors Report:  NCM has raised over 1 million $ towards expansion.  

Web Master Comments:  Not present.   

Applications: Motion made and carried to accept the application of Rob Russo from Seaford.  Welcome ! 

Club Sponsor Comments:  Not present. 

Old Business:  Harpers Ferry – (Gale Daugherty (410) 726-3214) We will be leaving early Saturday, April 21^st , an returning on Sunday.  Event is rain or shine – vette or no vette.  Please contact Gale if you have any questions or if you want to sign up and have not done so yet. 
Christmas Party – Was a blast ! Thanks again, Gale, for pulling it together for us! 
Corvette Show vs. Open Car Show – Our annual ESCC show will be an all GM show.  The Vettes will be in their own category, ofcourse!  We are hoping that if we increase the entries, we will increase the turnout and be able to contribute more to our chosen charity.  Event will be Saturday, June 2^nd, with Sunday as the rain date.  Location is still being investigated.  More details later. (We will still be doing our displays at Ig Burtons) 

New Business: Car of the Month – January’s Car of the Month goes to John Buchanan.  Look for this feature on the web in the near future!There will be a show in the months to come at the VFW in Delmar to benefit the Disabled Veterans.  The VFW needs our support – please plan to attend.  More details at a later date.

Christmas Party – Dec 9^th  

Upcoming Activities: 
Cruise to Southern Caribbean  – Feb 10-17^th (Bon voyage !)
Bus trip to Atlantic City – Feb 24^th. Still seats left!  The bus leaves Georgetown at 7 am and Dover at 7:45.  Contact Ed Marcelle if you are interested.
ESCC Annual Car Show – Sat, June 2^nd (Rain Date Sun, June 3^rd)
Corvettes at Carlisle – End of August 

Next Meeting:  Thursday, February 8th, 2007 at Delmar VFW. Dinner at 6:00, Meeting at 7:00.  (Mmmmm, lasagna!) 

Meeting adjourned at 7:54.
