Approval of minutes:Motion made and carried to accept minutes from June 2007.

Treasurer’s Report:  Ending balance of $6,509.79. 

NCM Ambassadors Report:  Rick Holloway – 15th Anniversary will be in 2009 – additions to NCM are ongoing.  He also spoke about new vettes coming out.  Ed Marcelle spoke about September 2009 weekend and setting reservations now, possibly staying in Nashville.

Web Master Comments:  Randy Goodlett – will be setting up another page.  No problems with the site were noted at this time.  Gerald Beauchamp needs pictures for our Car of the Month feature. 

Applications:  One application was mailed to Randy, but he did not have it with him.

New Business:
Rick Holloway – had a letter from the Chamber of Commerce inviting our club to next year’s

Chicken Festival – even the possibility of having our car show there during the festival.  The event is the 3rd weekend of June 2008 at the Centre at Salisbury.  The VFW in Delmar is also another car show site.  A motion was made and carried to do two Vette shows next year and a discussion on how to handle both followed.

Gerald Beauchamp – spoke of a party boat dinner cruise down the Pocomoke River.  The cost would be $30 per person.  He will be checking into a September date.

Car of the Month – Don & Arlene Gibson – 2000 Green Coupe.

Jim Revelle – mentioned to make donation to our charity, Women Supporting Women.  Gale Daugherty made a motion for a total of $2000.00 to be given at our i.g.Burton display event in September.  ($1000 Walmart donation from June car show plus $1000 from the club’s account)

Gale Daugherty – sent out thank-you letters for donation items at the June car show.

Name tags – will be ordered at $6.00 each.  Let Rick Berry know if you need one.

Officer nominations – need to be made at the August meeting and voted on at the September meeting.

Upcoming Activities: 
Beachcombers Car Show – Sat, Aug 18th 1st State Chevy in Georgetown – This is not a “Vette’s Only” event.

Corvettes at Carlisle – August 24, 25, 26th.

Seaford VFW Car Show – September 22 (rain date 23rd).  There will be a Corvette class.

Cruise-in at Kmart Salisbury shopping center – 3rd Saturday of each month.

October car show – Delmar

50/50:  Congratulations!  Shirley Chaney took home $47.
