Called to order at 6:55. Approval of minutes: Motion made and carried to accept minutes from October. Treasurer’s Report: Ending balance $4,696.80. NCM Ambassadors Report: NCM still needs your support. There are many different areas and levels of sponsorship. Possibility of a cruise to NCM Labor Day 2008. Web Master Comments: Check out the website! (Thanks to Randy for all of his hard work) Applications: Motion made and carried to accept the applications of Scott Urban from Salisbury, as well as Don & Patricia Clark of Oxford, MD. Welcome Club Sponsor Comments: Not present. Old Business: Harpers Ferry – technically still on the table. Gale D. has been working hard to explore all of our options. Thanks, Gale ! (We’ll probably discuss this more at the Christmas Party) Christmas Party – Gale D., once again, has been working hard to pull together our Christmas Party. It will be held at the VFW in Delmar on Saturday, December 9^th, beginning at 6:00 pm. Gale mailing out flyers – if you don’t get one, please call Candi at (302) 462-0014. Cost is $15.00 for currently paid members, $16.00 for all others. Corvette Show vs. Open Car Show – discussed – let us know what you think ! New Business: Car of the Month – Gerald B suggested the beginning of featuring a “Car of the Month”, starting in January of 2007. A “Car of the Year”, to be chosen in 2008, and a calendar showcasing 2007’s winners. This calendar would be offered for resale. Motion was made and carried to form a committee for this new feature. Committee exists of the following members: Gerald B, Rick B, Jim R, Debbie S, and Candi. If you are interested in joining this committee, please let us know! Past Activities: Corvettes on the Boardwalk in OC – Oct 14^thSmithfield, NJ Corvette Show – Sunday, Oct 15^thFederalsburg VFW Car Show – Saturday Oct 22^nd . (Wayne got “Best in Class”) Upcoming Activities: Holiday Dinner – December 9^th, Delmar VFW, 6:00 Cruise to Southern Caribbean – Feb 10-17, 2007.
