Meeting held at the VFW in Delmar.

Approval of minutes:Motion made and carried to accept minutes from August 2007.

Treasurer’s Report:  Ending balance of $6,248.12. 

NCM Ambassadors Report:  Breaking ground in January 2008 for museum.

Applications:  Motion made and carried to accept our newest members, Kirk & Susan Gerbig of Cambridge, MD.  WELCOME!

Club Sponsor Comments:  Ray Lanier – excited about the October 20th cruise-in car show at Burton’s in Seaford.  He wants to have a short meeting before the show to go over details.  He enjoys being a part of our club.  Also, he wanted to stress that if you ever have a problem with the dealership or it’s service areas, please let him know personally, as soon as possible.

Old / On-going Business:  Gerald Beauchamp – Pocomoke River Cruise on September 29th.  We need a minimum of 10 people at $30 per person in order to reserve our seat.  Let Gerald or Lee know if you would like to go ASAP.
 
New Business:
Our new/returning officers were voted in tonite!  They are as follows:

            President – Lee Chaney                  Vice President – Jim Revelle
            Secretary – Arlene Gibson              Treasurer – Gerald Beauchamp
            Officer at Large – Bob Holden

Charity request – Sam Adkins, for George Wingate, a Double Purple Heart DAV, who was diagnosed with cancer, requested the club to donate $1000 to help with hospital bills.  Motion was made and carried to honor this request.

Other charities for 2007-2008 term:  Women Supporting Women and Maple Shade.  Dollar amount of donations will be determined in August of 2008.  Motion was made and carried to accept both of these charities.

Norval Pritchett – wants us to meet at Snapper’s Restaurant in Cambridge, Md.  The owner wants our vettes parked in a display around his establishment.  This event will take place on Sunday, September 30th.  Club members will meet at Brew River at 1:00 and cruise over to Snapper’s. Those who do not wish to cruise from Brew River, please meet us at Snapper’s at 2:00.

Car of the month for October 2007 – Jim & Barbara Williams.  Congrats!

Milford Riverwalk Car Show – September 8th

Upcoming Activities: 
Seaford VFW Car Show – September 22 (rain date 23rd).  There will be a Corvette class.
Royal Farms in Greenwood – September 22nd
Snapper’s Cruise – September 30th (See details above under new business)
Cruise-in at ig Burton’s in Seaford – October 20th
Cruise-in at Kmart Salisbury shopping center – 3rd Saturday of each month.
